Find your size.

Every piece is listed in its brand's own sizes, so sizes look different from brand to brand. Here's how to read each one. Fastest way: grab clothes that fit you well and copy the sizes off their tags.

Tees, polos, sweaters, hoodies

Some show a fit too, like "M · Slim" or "M · Classic". Slim is closer to the body; Classic/Standard is roomier.

Not sure of your inseam? 30 is most common for 5'8"–5'11", 32 for 6'–6'2".

Fit through the body. Athletic has more room in the chest and shoulders

Rough match: S is 36–38, M is 38–40, L is 42–44, XL is 46. Suit pants are sold by waist the same way as pants.

Measuring yourself

Chest
Around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, tape level.
Neck
Around the base of your neck where a collar sits. Leave room for one finger.
Waist
Where your pants sit, not your belly button. Or check the tag on pants that fit you.
Inseam
On pants that fit you: from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the hem.

Between sizes? Size up in jackets and knits, and go with your usual waist in pants. If it doesn't fit, send it back in the prepaid mailer.
