I’m Ben Davenport. I built Davenport because I was spending money on clothes I wore a few times and then left in the closet. Renting gives you another way to dress for the stretch of life you’re actually in.

Davenport is a small, independent clothing rental business operated by Davenports LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company. We carry real menswear brands. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.

What you can check before renting

• The catalog: named pieces, condition, available sizes and monthly prices. During restocking, many pieces remain visible but cannot be rented.
• Cleaning and inspection: how clothes are prepared between rentals.
• Billing: the minimum term, fees and what happens when you return a piece.
• Returns: the prepaid mailer and return process.
